eLearning training

Are you new to instructional design and don’t know where to start or perhaps you’re more experienced and looking to improve your skills? We offer a number of training options to help you make the most of your talents:

Online

  • The Rapid eLearning Development Course (ReD) from the Ministry of Instructional Design (our virtual partner) is a 40 hour, 4 week online course designed by the UK's leading elearning experts. Part 3D computer game, part social network, part collaborative learning, the ReD course teaches all you need to know to create exciting and effective content in house using the latest learning technologies.
  • Free webinars on elearning hot topics. Sign up for our 'eLearning Tips and News' to receive notifications of these events.
  • Online Instructional Design Surgeries to help with specific ID issues. Using web conference technology, this is a low cost way to receive ongoing training and support.

Face to face

  • The Instructional Design Best Practice workshop covers how to scope out and design elearning and to create a brief for someone else (i.e. an elearning development company) to build it. Getting this right first time can save you a lot of time and money. This workshop can be run for a small group on site.
  • The ID for Rapid Development Workshop teaches you how to scope out, design and start building your own elearning content. Based on our popular Instructional Design Best Practice Workshop, if you need to start developing content fast, this is the one for you. This workshop can be run for a small group onsite.
  • One to one or small group consultancy days to help you further develop and hone your ID skills.
